Frequently Asked Questions

If you have any additional questions about our clinic, please feel free to contact us via phone or email.
  • What can I expect in terms of insurance reimbursement?
Dr. Bhasin is an out of network provider and does not participate in insurance plans, however we do provide a detailed billing statement for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Most patients receive 50-80% back from their insurance companies. You should check with your insurance company prior to your first appointment to see if they require any advanced paperwork for out of network providers.
  • How long does a typical evaluation take?
The evaluation will typically last 3-4 weeks total. We can adjust the time frame in extreme cases if necessary. Patients can expect to receive the report and feedback approximately 3 weeks after they begin the evaluation.
  • Do you see patients via tele-medicine?
The Comprehensive Neuropsychology has a physical location in Ramsey NJ. However, we can accommodate tele-medicine for both psychotherapy and most neuropsychological evaluations. Some school based evaluations will require at least one in person session. Payment is due via credit card for telemedicine appointments.
  • Is your office Wheelchair Accessible?
Yes, there are dedicated handicap spots in front of the main entrance and the building has an elevator. The restroom is also wheel chair accessible.
  • How do I make payments?
Payment is due at time of service. We accept all major credit cards( Visa, Mastercard), debit cards, cash, and checks.
  • Does my health care insurance pay for the evaluation?
Depending on the referral question and the patient’s medical history, medical insurance may provide partial or full coverage for the neuropsychological evaluation. However, Comprehensive Neuropsychology Center is an out of network provider (fee for service). Therefore, we do not contract directly with insurance companies. We provide our patients with an invoice (insurance bill) that contains all of the pertinent information that will be necessary when submitting a claim to your insurance company. Many patients find private payment to be beneficial because it allows for greater privacy and flexibility in treatment. We accept all forms of payment (check, credit card, cash).
